Voting Survey Results
Here are the results of the latest Voting Survey. I would first like to thank everyone who participated. We are going through a period of change and growth here at Carmelita Gardens and everyone’s input is greatly valued.
A quick explainer on how the survey was conducted. I’m sure one of the first things some will notice is there are questions on here that were not presented to you during the survey. Depending on your answer to the question regarding representation by property or individual a different follow-up question was asked that was pertinent to your previous answer. Thus owners who indicated they preferred voting by properties (lots) owned, they were asked a follow-up question regarding unsold or developer held lots. Owners who indicated a preference for representation by individual were presented with a follow-up question to indicate if there should be any limiting factors on the number of individuals that should be represented.
I believe the survey results speak clearly what the consensus was, but please feel free to comment below if you have any questions. You may also send questions and or comments to [email protected]

This is my opinion:
Property owner gets one vote. Doesn’t matter if you own one lot or multiple lots…still one vote. Otherwise multiple lot owners could out vote community members forcing changes a majority may not want.
As to the number of names on the Deed….one vote. For example, both my name and my wife’s name is listed but we should not get two votes. That would be unfair to single lot owners.

Based upon the survey results it would appear a number of owners agree with that sentiment as well.
